"Let go and let God."
- Psalm 46:10 -

My work as an artist is motivated by my faith. Once the brush hits the canvas, I approach each painting with a great deal of emotion. Listening to music and my intuition, I embrace the piece as a journey. I am not confined by color or subject matter, but rather the freedom of my process allows for subject matter to appear, which then informs color. I am drawn in and become lost in the blending, the layering, the taking away, the transparency of paint.
I encourage the viewer to embrace their own interpretations of my work, and hearing what people take from my paintings is one of the strongest motivators in my creation. This is the greatest gift I've been given, and seeing my own passion passed on to others and the feelings my paintings give them is, for me, the most humbling aspect of being an artist.
